BASICS Membership

The British Association for Immediate Care (BASICS) is passionate about pre-hospital immediate care, and welcomes anyone who shares that interest. Whether you’re a student just starting your journey, a first responder, EMT/ECA or healthcare professional, BASICS has a membership category designed to support you.

We warmly welcome applications from people based in Scotland. Please note, however, that the British Association for Immediate Care is a separate organisation from BASICS Scotland who have their own specific membership.

Full Membership

Associate Membership

Enjoy a full year of membership for just £80. Open to individuals who are not eligible for other membership classes including:

Enjoy a year of membership for just £12!

Full-time students pursuing primary registration with a healthcare regulator, including those already registered with a different regulator.

Please note that student membership is not available for:

• Individuals undertaking short courses
• Those medical practitioners undertaking foundation or speciality/GP training
• Those undertaking post-qualifying undergraduate & postgraduate courses, inc. those studying to enhance and/or advance their current professional role
