Emergency Care Course (ECC)

This two-day course moves beyond your first aid and first response training to the emergency care of adults by those who are not registered healthcare professionals. This highly practical course will grow your confidence and ability to care for adults in a range of pre-hospital environments and emergency scenarios.

The ECC includes master classes focusing on airway and breathing care, cardiac resuscitation and fracture management. It will involve scenario care of adult casualties with acute illness and trauma. It will also develop greater insight and understanding of the care of patients with asthma, allergy and anaphylaxis and head trauma, alongside reviewing understanding and care of a wide variety of presenting conditions seen in pre-hospital care.

“…an outstanding 2 day course, the content was super helpful for my role and delivered in such a way that I have come away thinking of what I can sign up for next!” Emergency Care Assistant
